Home Maker by St Margaret’s Hospice
Led the development of a new retail brand for Home Maker, a high street interiors store within the St Margaret’s Hospice family. The project encompassed brand identity, interior and exterior design, and in-store visual language.
While St Margaret’s Hospice is well known for second-hand retail, the objective for Home Maker was to establish a distinct, aspirational brand capable of retailing both curated second-hand and new homeware products – without being constrained by existing perceptions.

While St Margaret’s Hospice is well known for second-hand retail, the objective for Home Maker was to establish a distinct, aspirational brand capable of retailing both curated second-hand and new homeware products – without being constrained by existing perceptions.
Approach
Developed a new brand identity designed to sit confidently alongside the parent organisation while establishing its own tone of voice and visual language. Led concept development for the shop environment, including exterior signage, interior layout, colour palette, typography, and in-store graphics. Ensured the retail experience felt contemporary, considered, and commercially appealing.
Delivered a cohesive retail brand and environment that successfully repositioned the offer, attracting a broader audience and enabling the sale of both second-hand and new products within a unified, design-led space. The result was a distinctive brand that balanced commercial appeal with the values and heritage of the hospice.Service:
